His journey began working pubs and clubs in his home town of Hereford, now in his fourth year he has nights all over the UK working with some of the biggest names in the business.
Residencies for brands such as 'I love My DJ', 'Rough Hill' and 'Climax' have boosted his career helping to push the name forward and become a recognisable figure in the nightclub industry.
The start of 2011 brings a new challenge for Silko with the production of his first track. Influenced by rising star Afrojack he has taken on the genre of Tech House and Electro, hoping to bring a new style to the dance floor.
He has also recently gained a modelling contract in London to run alongside DJing and producing.
Silko is one of the new talents on the scene and is here to stay...
Hi Guys. Hope 2012 started well for you. New Years eve was crazy busy at Play Hereford! Was great to work with the Towie cast again, looking forward to series 4 starting next week! Had Sway and DJ Turkish at the club last Friday performing new single 'Still Speeding', great to meet you guys- awesome show! January has started very well, been busy which is great. Heading up to Glam Cardiff a lot more now with Ian, the place is booming every week! What a year! It has certainly been a wild one. The website has reached 160,000 hits, I am so grateful of the support! Over the last 8 weeks we have been hosting X-Factor Fridays at Play Hereford with each finalist appearing live after there eviction from the show, it has been a huge success and I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of them. Juicy Tuesdays at Mosaic in Exeter finished last week as the students have all returned home but it has been a great first term and I'm looking forward to next year!
Thursday the 22nd December we have the Towie Christmas party at Play with 4 of the cast, should be a huge night! I have also been asked to appear on a popular E4/CH4 programme for the Christmas special representing my agency Base models in London but unfortunately couldnt make filming due to work commitments elsewhere - next year watch this space! :) Follow me on twitter for all new updates - @djsilko. Just been to Marbella for a few days, unbelievable place! The weather was amazing, had a great time, I really want a Yacht now! Still hard at work most days in the studio, the first track has gone well, just a few tweaks now. Play Hereford is still buzzing, extremely busy! Worked with Lovelle last night from the Ibiza hit - La Musica (Ray Foxx), lovely girl and going to be a big star! It's that time of year again, all the students are off to uni for fresher's week and all the big mid-week gigs kick off. Then up to Birmingham with the boss Ian Davies (www.djiandavies.co.uk) for his night - 'Minky Moo' Wednesdays at Risa.

Crazy few weeks! Have been really busy in the studio lately, fruity loops is an amazing programme when you get your head around it... some big sounds are on the way. The students have returned home and Play is a road block every weekend, looking forward to the birthday... a huge act is on the cards (that's all im saying) Not long now until I start my new student nights in September around the country, freshers at Mosaic in Exeter is going to be massive! Summer is officially in full flow, just come back from a holiday to Bulgaria with the boys, what goes on tour and all that!! Big shout to Mark Lee, Ryan Ellis, Mark Prior, Chris Skinner, Dan Ellis and Chris Ankers for making it one to remember! The students have returned home now so Play is absolutely booming! Hi guys, sorry about the lack of updates lately things are crazy busy at the moment. The shoot for Toni & Guy was awesome, you can see the preview pictures on my facebook and i will also be uploading a new gallery on here soon. My residency at Revs Loughborough for Skooled is going really well, its every thursday and is the main student night, full capacity every week! Play Hereford is still buzzing every weekend, and now with the students returning for the summer we are expecting a phenomenal few months! Met Joey Essex at the club a few weeks back and he has invited us down for a look at his new night in Sugarhut 'Reem Parties' so a few of us are going down soon. Lots of things are set to happen over the next few months so watch this space.... Catch you soon x
It’s been a crazy few weeks! After recently getting on the books with Base models in London I got sent to a course at Bournemouth University to teach me a little more about casting techniques and other aspects of the industry, it was a great success and I met some really nice people. I have a shoot with Toni&Guy in Worcester at the start of next month which I’m really excited about, will be a great experience for me. I’ve been doing a lot more DJ’ing in Mosaic Exeter recently, great venue! My residency at Play Hereford is full every weekend and with the returning students for Easter and then summer we are expecting a phenomenal few months! On a personal note had a great time at Old Trafford last Tuesday watching United in Europe against Marseille and also enjoyed a day at The Cheltenham Festival- The free bar was a bonus! A massive thank you for all the support! The website had 100,000 hits in January which is incredible! Lots of things have been happening lately, went to meet Sidney Samson in Cardiff and learnt a lot about the ‘Dirty Dutch’ sound he produces, really nice bloke! Lots of new samples are coming out in the studio and things are moving forward quickly, fruity loops rocks! I also want to say Happy 21st Birthday to my sister Stacey! Catch you all soon! x
Life is crazy at the moment. I start my new residency in Revs Loughborough next Thursday of which I’m very excited about. The ‘beat lab’ studio is slowly becoming my second home, really pleased with the results so far, Watch this Space....
